Sketchbook Insight

My sketchbooks each have a theme and one of them is studies of objects and techniques. When I was in high school we had to enlarge the corner of a dollar bill and I really enjoyed that exercise. So I tried to recreate it with this penny. Unfortunely due to a flooded basement years ago I lost all of my art from high school and college.
